“We serve humanity.”
German humanoid manufacturer. 4NE-1 Gen 3.5 is their flagship: 180 cm, 80 kg, €60k-€98k pre-order.
NEURA Robotics was founded in 2019 by David Reger in Metzingen, Germany. The company raised over €200 million in funding and has positioned itself as Europe's leading humanoid robotics manufacturer, a claim supported by the scale of its ambitions and the quality of its engineering team. NEURA's development in Germany gives it access to one of the world's strongest industrial automation ecosystems and a domestic customer base in automotive and advanced manufacturing.
The flagship product is 4NE-1 Gen 3.5, a 180 cm, 80 kg humanoid listed at €60,000 to €98,000 on pre-order, making it one of the most transparently priced humanoid platforms. NEURA has also announced MAiRA, a cognitive cobot, and MAC, a mobile manipulation system. The company's stated philosophy is that humanoids must combine physical capability with cognitive intelligence to be commercially useful, and it has invested in proprietary AI development alongside hardware engineering.
NEURA occupies a strategic position as the European alternative to US and Asian humanoid manufacturers, with the potential to benefit from procurement preferences in German and broader EU industrial markets.
NEURA Robotics sells into the UK market directly and through European distribution channels. The 4NE-1 price point in GBP at current exchange rates places it at approximately £50,000 to £84,000. UK automotive and advanced manufacturing companies have been in early engagement discussions. Post-Brexit import duties apply to hardware sourced from Germany. NEURA's European base makes UK logistics and support more practical than for US-based competitors.
The 4NE-1 is a recently launched product and no significant secondhand market has developed. Early pre-order units from pilot customers may appear as hardware is updated to later generations. Given the European distribution base, UK buyers would have more practical access to used NEURA hardware than to used US humanoids. Software support depends on NEURA's cloud services and would need to be renegotiated on resale.
