What to check before you buy a used Dyson 360 Vis Nav

Confirm current firmware via the MyDyson app — cleaning performance has improved significantly through software updates
Check the central panoramic camera lens for cracks or cloudiness; a damaged lens degrades navigation accuracy
Run a full cleaning cycle to verify the full-width brush bar spins cleanly across its entire length
Ask if the charging dock is included — the 360 Vis Nav uses a proprietary dock sold directly by Dyson
Best used buying month is October — ahead of winter cleaning season when demand and prices rise

Frequently asked questions

Is the Dyson 360 Vis Nav worth buying used?

Yes, at £550–£700 versus £999 new the Dyson 360 Vis Nav used represents strong value. Dyson's service ecosystem — direct parts sales, UK service centres, and consistent software support — reduces the risk that typically accompanies used robot vacuums. Confirm firmware is current and test a full cleaning cycle before purchase.

What is a fair price for a used Dyson 360 Vis Nav in the UK?

A used Dyson 360 Vis Nav in good condition with current firmware and original dock should cost £550 to £650. Excellent-condition examples with low use may reach £700. Deduct £50–£80 for a unit without the original dock. Walk away from units priced under £450 unless the seller explains the discount.
