About LG Electronics

LG Electronics was founded in 1958 in Seoul and is one of the world's largest consumer electronics and home appliance companies. LG entered the service robotics market through its CLOi platform, a range of commercial service robots targeted at hospitality, retail, airports, and healthcare environments. The CLOi brand encompasses several distinct robot types under a unified design language, reflecting LG's approach of applying industrial design and consumer experience principles to commercial robotics.

LG's robotics development benefits from the company's existing expertise in displays, sensors, and wireless connectivity, as well as its relationships with large hospitality and retail chains that serve as deployment partners. The CLOi platform has been deployed in hotels, airports (including Incheon International in South Korea), and retail environments across Asia and increasingly in Western markets.

LG Business Solutions handles the commercial deployment of CLOi robots and has established relationships with enterprise customers in multiple countries, positioning LG to scale deployments as adoption grows.

Key Products

• CLOi ServeBot: Tray delivery robot for hospitality, restaurant, and healthcare delivery tasks.
• CLOi GuideBot: Customer guidance and information robot for retail and airport environments.
• CLOi CleanBot: Autonomous floor cleaning robot for commercial premises.
• CLOi CartBot: Luggage and goods transport robot for hotels and airports.

UK Market Presence

LG CLOi robots are available in the UK through LG Business Solutions and its partner network. UK deployments have been reported in hotels and large retail environments. Pricing for CLOi ServeBot units is broadly comparable to competitors such as Pudu BellaBot, in the £10,000 to £18,000 range for new units.

Buying Used LG CLOi Equipment

Used CLOi units are beginning to appear through commercial equipment resellers as early adopters upgrade or exit service robotics programmes. Battery condition and wheel wear are the primary checks. LG's cloud management platform subscription status should be verified, as the robot's navigation and management depend on active connectivity. Pricing for used units typically falls 30 to 50 percent below new retail.
