LG's autonomous delivery robot with an 11-hour runtime, 30 kg payload, and 1,300 mm height. Designed for hotels, hospitals and office campuses. Delivers food, laundry and amenities to guest rooms and wards autonomously. Priced at $17,900; deployed in Korean and US hotel chains with UK pilots ongoing.
The LG CLOi ServeBot is LG Electronics' entry into the commercial food and beverage delivery robot market, offering an 11-hour runtime, a 30 kg payload, and a 1,300 mm operating height. Built on LG's ThinQ AI platform, it reflects the company's broader ambition to establish service robots as a recurring revenue stream alongside its consumer appliance business.
LG's positioning differentiates the CLOi ServeBot through build quality and brand recognition. At $17,900 list price it sits at the premium end of the delivery robot market, targeting hospitality groups and hotel chains that value the reassurance of a major manufacturer's warranty, global service network, and long-term software support commitments.
The CLOi ServeBot is deployed in hotel lobbies, airport lounges, and upscale restaurant environments where brand association and aesthetic presentation matter alongside functional performance. LG has signed agreements with major hotel chains in South Korea, the US, and Southeast Asia, and the robot has been trialled in UK hotel pilot programmes.
In the UK, large branded hotel chains and airport terminal food and beverage operators are the primary target customers. The LG brand and after-sales service infrastructure are significant advantages compared to less established Chinese manufacturers, particularly for organisations with procurement policies requiring tier-one supplier relationships.
A secondary market is beginning to emerge as early-adopter hotel groups refresh their robot fleets. Used units occasionally appear through hospitality equipment brokers at 30 to 40 percent below list price. LG's service network provides a degree of reassurance for buyers of pre-owned units, though warranty transfer eligibility should be confirmed with the local LG Commercial division before purchase.
Bear Robotics Servi Plus and Keenon DINERBOT T10 offer comparable payload at lower price points. For buyers prioritising brand backing and service infrastructure over lowest cost, the CLOi ServeBot remains the most defensible choice in its category.
