The Resale Index shows it at 89.6 — down 10.4% year on year, reflecting the broader 3D printer category's fast depreciation pace (-8.2% category average). This is good news for buyers: the technology has not changed, but the price has.
Hours alone are not decisive. A well-maintained MK4 at 2,000 hours with documented nozzle changes and a clean hotend is a better buy than a 400-hour machine that has never been serviced. Ask for the maintenance history alongside the print hour count.
