Ff Master

Overview

The Faraday Future Master is a compact 131 cm humanoid from Faraday Future Robotix, priced at $19,990 (approximately £15,700) with a 3 kg payload. Targeting consumer and light commercial buyers, the Master is positioned as a more accessible entry into the Faraday Future humanoid range. As with the larger Futurist, buyers should assess Faraday Future's corporate stability and ongoing support commitments before purchase, given the company's history of financial turbulence in its primary electric vehicle business. The 131 cm height is well suited to residential environments, and the 3 kg payload enables basic household task assistance such as carrying small items between rooms or assisting with simple preparation tasks.

Use Cases

The Master targets home assistance, consumer entertainment, and light commercial service tasks. Its compact size makes it suitable for standard residential environments, fitting through standard UK doorways and operating safely alongside household members. The 3 kg payload allows light object manipulation such as carrying small items or performing simple household service tasks.

Buying Used

Secondhand units may become available through resellers as early buyers upgrade. Corporate stability concerns make it worth verifying that software updates and replacement parts remain accessible before buying secondhand, as a company withdrawal from the market would leave units without support. UK buyers should also verify that the unit meets British electrical safety standards and that UKCA or CE documentation is available, as consumer-grade robots require compliance documentation for lawful sale in the UK market.

Alternatives to Consider

• Unitree G1 ($16,000): similar price, dedicated robotics manufacturer, much stronger community
• Hello Robot Stretch 3 ($17,000): wheeled, better research support, proven in home environments
• Noetix Bumi ($1,400): far lower cost for education and home demonstration purposes
