HMND 01 Alpha Bipedal

Overview

The SKL Robotics HMND 01 Alpha Bipedal is a large-frame 179 cm humanoid with a 15 kg payload, currently in industrial pilot with select manufacturers. SKL Robotics, operating under the Humanoid brand, is a Chinese company focused on industrial deployment applications. The HMND 01 Alpha has not yet reached commercial availability and pricing has not been publicly announced. At 179 cm it is one of the taller humanoids in the market, which may be an advantage in environments designed around the average male standing height and reach envelope. The industrial pilot context suggests a manufacturing or logistics application where the platform is being evaluated against real production metrics before commercial release.

Key Specifications

• Height: 179 cm
• Payload: 15 kg
• Status: industrial pilot
• Price: not announced

Use Cases

The HMND 01 Alpha targets heavy-duty manufacturing assembly and material handling, where its large frame and 15 kg payload provide an advantage over lighter platforms. Its height allows access to the upper shelving and overhead work areas that shorter humanoids cannot reach without modification. UK manufacturers interested in the platform should contact SKL Robotics directly regarding international pilot eligibility.

Buying Used

No secondhand units are available. The HMND 01 Alpha is at an early commercial stage, and a used market will not develop until commercial shipments are underway. Interested buyers should engage directly with SKL Robotics to register interest in pilot programmes, as early industrial partners often receive preferred pricing and technical support terms not available to later buyers. UK import logistics and UKCA compliance should be factored into procurement planning.
